Welcome Back!! Sorry for not keeping the site up to date over the summer, but there just wasn't much snowmobile talk going around that I know of. Just to let you all know, the first meeting of the 2008-09 season will be on October 6th, 8pm at the Freedom VFW on Hwy. 55. We encourage all who can, to attend as we will be discussing the raffle banquet amongst other topics. Check out the Club News Section for other news. ATTENTION TO ALL SNOWMOBILERS!!!!!! The DNR will be instituting a 55mph speed limit from dusk to dawn!!! Due to high accident and death rates the last few years, the DNR is trying get those numbers down and AWSC has offered to reduce the nighttime speed limit which is when most of these accidents took place. Please remember this as you go out riding this winter. We don't want to lose anyone this year, or any year. There is also an 88 decibel noise level law! Any aftermarket or performance enhancing exhausts that exceed that level will get fined and will have to be removed. |
